English Proficiency Tests

Virtually all schools accept TOEFL as a requirement for admission. - IELTS:
Register online. Test format and practice tests are online. Check website for fees and test dates. Test Centre location is at Conestoga College 299 Doon Valley Drive in Kitchener.
Most schools accept IELTS including Waterloo, Laurier, McGill, Toronto, Queen's, Guelph, Ryerson, McMaster, Western and more. - CAEL:
Register online. Test format and practice tests are online. Check website for fees and test dates. Test Centre location is Seneca College in Toronto.
Many schools accept CAEL including most Ontario colleges. Also Waterloo, Laurier, Toronto, Queen's, Guelph, Ryerson, McMaster, Western and more.
All three test centers will want you to come to the test day with all of the necessary identification and it must match the identification that you provide in your registration form exactly. Also, if you know the institutions to which you will apply when you write the test, indicate that those schools should receive the results of your English Test. Institutions usually want the results to come directly from the test centre not forwarded by you.
