International Applicants
International Students
Students from around the world are an important part of the Rockway community. Our international students come to Rockway to experience another culture, improve their English skills, and prepare themselves for study in North American universities and colleges.
In the last five years, we have welcomed students from Austria, Brazil, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.
Rockway supports international students with an International Students Club, a Teacher Advisor for International Students, English as a Second Language (ESL) courses, and tutors.
Rockway also assists international students through its Home Stay @ Rockway program. Home Stay @ Rockway selects an experienced, compatible Canadian host family for each international student. The host family welcomes the student into their home, and offers the student all the cultural experiences and benefits of intergenerational relationships with Canadians.
